On 20 October 2026, REINFORCE will be presented at the CETPartnership Annual Conference 2026, held under the theme “Impactful RTDI for Energy Security and Resilience.”

REINFORCE was selected as one of six projects for the conference’s project deep-dive sessions. The project will be featured in the “System & Society” session from 15:25 to 16:05 CEST.

Nikolaus Fleischhacker will present the REINFORCE consortium, research focus, innovations, expected results and achievements, highlighting the project’s contribution to more flexible and resilient future energy systems.

Connecting research with resilient energy systems

REINFORCE combines real-world Living Lab infrastructure with energy-system simulation, stochastic optimisation and emerging quantum-computing approaches. The project investigates how renewable generation, storage, hydrogen technologies and energy communities can be integrated and operated more flexibly and resiliently.

The CETPartnership Annual Conference provides an opportunity to connect these activities with the wider European discussion on energy security, resilient infrastructure and clean-energy innovation.
